By adopting a rescue pet from Healing German Shepherd rescue, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Payment and Fees

• The adopter agrees to pay the adoption fee for the rescue pet, which covers the cost of care, medical treatment, and any applicable shipping or transportation fees.

Care and Supervision

• The adopter agrees that the rescue pet will not be allowed outdoors without proper supervision.
• The adopter commits to providing humane care, including adequate food, water, shelter, attention, and medical care throughout the pet’s life.

Temperament and Responsibility

• The adopter understands that Healing German Shepherd rescue provides information about the rescue pet’s temperament at the time of adoption but is not responsible for any future behavior, damages, or injuries caused by the pet.
• The adopter agrees to be fully responsible for the rescue pet’s actions and well-being.

Follow-Up and Monitoring

• The adopter grants Healing German Shepherd rescue permission to contact them at any reasonable time to ensure the rescue pet is being properly cared for and treated humanely.

Commitment to the Pet

• The adopter agrees to care for the rescue pet to the best of their ability, providing all necessary needs and treating the pet with kindness and respect.

Health and Vaccination

• The rescue pet has received appropriate medical care, including vaccinations and deworming, as determined by a licensed veterinarian.
• The adopter agrees to take the rescue pet to a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 72 hours of adoption for a health check. If the veterinarian identifies any health issues directly related to the pet’s condition at the time of adoption, the pet may be returned for a full refund, provided a signed written diagnosis is submitted.
• Hopeful Healing German Shepherd rescue will cover the cost of returning the pet in such cases.

Return and Rehoming Policy

• If the adopter can no longer care for the rescue pet, they must notify Healing German Shepherd rescue and give the sanctuary the first option to resume ownership and find a new home for the pet.
• The adopter has a 30-day period to return the pet for a full refund if they are unsatisfied or unable to bond with the pet, provided all paperwork and medical records are returned with the pet.
• If any circumstances affect the rescue pet’s quality of life, the adopter must inform Healing German Shepherd rescue so the sanctuary can assist in determining the pet’s future.
• The sanctuary reserves the right to approve or prohibit any transfer of the pet to a third party.
• Under no circumstances may the rescue pet be sold, leased, traded, or given to any pet shop, research laboratory, animal shelter, or similar facility.

General Agreement

• The adopter agrees to provide a loving, safe, and permanent home for the rescue pet.
• The adopter understands that Healing German Shepherd rescue retains a vested interest in the pet’s well-being and may intervene if the terms of this agreement are not met.
